Merida city tourWe start with the CHorros de Milla Park, The most visited in Venezuela, with the largest number of paují in captivity, this is a beautiful city zoo located in a narrow valley formed by the river that bears his name. It was built during the 50's in the same site occupied by the Indians Tibisay and Murachi, who gave birth to the beautiful story of the Wizard of Merida. Continuing on to Beethoven Park: a park with a powerful attraction, it plays tracks from the works of the famous German composer of classical music, cute figures of Bavarian farmers appear to hit the chime of 16 bells and interpret the melodies. Continuing to the historic City, in this area you can admire many colonial buildings of great historical value such as the Archbishop's Palace, Plaza Bolívar de Mérida, that graces the city with its beautiful gardens, and around the Government Palace, La Casa de la Cultura Juan Felix Sanchez and of course the Basilica of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, the station Cable Car and perhaps end relaxing with a delicious ice cream in La Gelato Coromoto, who entered the Guinness Book of Records with more than 1,000 flavors.
